BETTING PREVIEW: YORK v POMPEY

18 April 2016

Back the Blues with Sky Bet

Pompey will look to put their Plymouth disappointment to one side and beat struggling York on Tuesday night.

Paul Cook’s side are 8/13 favourites with Sky Bet to return to winning ways at Bootham Crescent.

The hosts – who will be relegated if they fail to secure victory – can be backed at 17/4, with the draw at 14/5.

Pompey romped to a 6-0 triumph when the sides met at Fratton Park earlier in the second and a repeat of the scenario is on offer at 150/1.

More realistic punters, however, might prefer the odds of 11/2 for a 1-0 win or 7/1 for a 2-1 outcome.

Marc McNulty netted a hat-trick in the reverse fixture and is 28/1 to bag another treble, while the striker is 4/1 favourite to open the scoring.

Elsewhere in that market, Michael Smith, Kyle Bennett and Christian Burgess are available at 5/1, 7/1 and 28/1 respectively.

Please note that odds are subject to change.
