Blues partner with local company
Pompey have teamed up with the Portsmouth-based Red. Lounge group for a deal to sponsor the Victory Lounge.
The popular matchday haunt of many fans – as well as one of the biggest function spaces in the city – now carries the name of Kassia, one of the Red. Lounge’s core brands, which has branches in Drayton and Clanfield.
Kassia currently offer a range of Indian tapas dishes in a chic and stylish cocktail bar environment.
As well as Kassia, the company also own the Red. Lounge Steak and Lobster restaurant in Cowplain and Drayton, as well as the Pasha Indian restaurant in Cowplain.
Red. Lounge have a number of sponsorships deals with the club, including a pitch-side board at the Fratton End.
Pompey chief executive Mark Catlin said: “We are delighted to have done this deal with the Red. Lounge group.
“They are an up and coming restaurant chain, with a strong local identity – just the sort of business the club want to work with.”
Kaz Miah, CEO of the group, added: “We are delighted to be able support the football club and hopefully gain further awareness of our restaurants within the city.
“As a group of local restaurants that pride ourselves on community spirit, Pompey stood out to us as a community club whose beliefs were in line with ours. We hope to be in a position to partner with the club for a long time to come.”
