Keeper departs Fratton Park
Pompey have reached a mutual agreement with Paul Jones to terminate the goalkeeper’s contract.
The 30-year-old has now signed a deal with Championship side Norwich.
Jones said: “I want to thank the fans and can assure them that I always gave 100 per cent during my time at Fratton Park.
“I loved my time here and am sad to be leaving, but I received a great opportunity and they don’t come around too often.
“I wish the club well and the manager’s put together a strong squad, so I have every faith that they’ll get over the line this season.”
Jones signed for the Blues in the summer of 2014 and made 64 appearances in his two years at the club.
Everyone at Pompey would like to thank Paul for his service to the club and wish him well for the future.
