POMPEY HOST CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR HOMELESS

15 December 2016

Club partner with Faith and Football for festive feast

Pompey have worked in partnership with Faith and Football to provide a slap-up Christmas meal for homeless people in the city.

More than 100 guests enjoyed a traditional turkey lunch with all the trimmings, thanks to our friends at Bransbury Park Butchers and Harvest Fine Foods.

Staff from the club also got into the festive spirit by volunteering to serve food at the annual Victory Lounge event.

Blues chief executive Mark Catlin said: “As a community club, it is important that we look after those members of our community who need it the most – especially at this time of year.

“Thanks to the generosity of some local companies, Faith and Football and Pompey staff, we were able to offer our visitors a delicious meal and an enjoyable afternoon.”
