An audience with the snooker legend this summer
One of the greatest snooker players of all time, Steve Davis, will be entertaining an audience in Portsmouth.
Tickets are now on sale for An Audience with Steve Davis, which takes place at The Pyramids Centre on Friday, June 10.
The legendary potter, who won six world titles and became a sporting phenomenon, will share stories of his glittering career, which spanned three decades, on stage with top MC John McDonald.
He will also be available for photographs and signings – and will be playing pool against some lucky ticket holders.
Davis said: “I’m really looking forward to coming to Portsmouth and meeting some fans. I love these kind of events because supporters are the people who have given me and all sportsmen the great lives we have and it is fantastic to engage with them and give something back.
“I have a few stories to tell that I think everyone will enjoy, but I’m still determined not to let anybody beat me at pool!”
Jason Thame of promoters MODUS Sports Management added: “Steve Davis is one of the biggest names in, not just snooker, but in sport. He is a household name and a national treasure. We are delighted to be able to bring him to Portsmouth.
“He has had a brilliant career and definitely has some interesting stories to tell. It should be a fantastic evening and one that is not to be missed.”

VIP ticket holders will enjoy an exclusive meet-and-greet with Steve ahead of the main show and fans are urged to book early to avoid disappointed as there is a limited amount of tickets.
Portsmouth FC season ticket holders will also be entered into a prize draw to take on Davis at pool. Details of this will be sent out to all season ticket holders.
