McNULTY EXTENDS POMPEY LOAN

4 January 2016

Striker to remain for rest of the season

Marc McNulty’s loan from Sheffield United has been extended until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Scottish striker has netted six goals in 11 appearances since arriving at Fratton Park at the start of November.

He bagged a hat-trick in a 6-0 demolition of York and also struck in games against Carlisle, Hartlepool and Crawley.

And McNulty is delighted to be remaining with the Blues for the rest of the 2015/16 campaign.

He said: “I’ve really enjoyed playing my football at a great club like this with a fantastic manager, squad and set of fans.

“I believe that Pompey are going places and that’s something that I really wanted to be a part of.”

Meanwhile, Jayden Stockley has returned to Bournemouth following the end of his loan spell.

He scored twice in 12 appearances for the Blues – including the winner at Bristol Rovers – and the club would like to thank him for his services.
