Back the Blues with Sky Bet

Pompey will pit their wits against a side from two divisions higher up the Football League ladder on Tuesday night.

But Paul Cook’s side are still 7/5 favourites with Sky Bet to beat Ipswich and progress to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The Championship visitors can be backed at 15/8, while a draw after 90 minutes is on offer at 12/5.

Conor Chaplin scored in the initial tie 10 days ago and, along with Marc McNulty, is favourite at 6/1 to open the scoring.

Elsewhere in that market, Adam McGurk, Gary Roberts, Kyle Bennett and Adam Webster can be backed at 13/2, 15/2, 9/1 and 40/1 respectively.

Pompey won 1-0 the last two times they beat Ipswich in the FA Cup and a repeat of that scoreline is available at 7/1.

The more optimistic punters might fancy the Blues winning the entire competition at 2,500/1 or the 25/1 on them being the Football League side to progress the furthest.
