Striker moves to Forest Green
Pompey and Matt Tubbs have agreed a deal for the striker to leave Fratton Park and join Forest Green.
The 31-year-old scored 14 goals in 40 appearances for the Blues after signing from Bournemouth in January 2015.
Tubbs said: “I’d like to thank the fans for their support and also chairman Iain McInnes for giving me the chance to play for this fantastic club.
“Pompey belong in a higher league, but the club is moving in the right direction and I wish them well.
“This is a new and exciting chapter for me. Forest Green were unlucky not to win promotion last season and hopefully I can help them create history by becoming a League club.”
Everyone at Pompey would like to thank Matt for his service to the club and wish him well for the future.
