Blues to face Sligo and Bohemians
Pompey will play two matches in Ireland this summer as part of their pre-season preparations.
They will face Sligo Rovers on Wednesday, July 6 (6.15pm kick-off) before taking on Dublin-based Bohemians on Saturday, July 9 (3pm kick-off).
Blues boss Paul Cook spent almost five years in charge of Sligo and led them to FAI Cup and League Cup glory.
The Showgrounds clash will serve as a testimonial for Rovers defender Gavin Peers, who has made more than 300 appearances for the club.
Pompey have already announced pre-season visits to Havant & Waterlooville, Sutton, Salisbury, Bognor and Bristol City, as well as a home clash with Bournemouth for Alan McLoughlin’s benefit match.
