The role
- To provide the overall IT support for the charity
- To ensure that the resources of the charity are applied effectively, efficiently and innovatively to meet the overall aims and objectives of the organisation and its customers.
Main duties
- Provide ICT hardware and software support including the support of any audio and visual systems
- Monitor network performance and carry out continual network maintenance and upgrades activities
- Actively promote the charity and its services by creating a technology platform that sets the organisation apart from any other
- Assist with technical advice for new projects and initiatives that are due to be created and delivered by the organisation
- Work with the commercial and marketing team to generate new technology leads and opportunities
- To ensure the organisation is proactively leading the way in digital technology
The person we are looking for
- Knowledge of using ICT technology
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software packages
- Experience of working in a customer facing role and experience of working in an ICT technical coordinator role
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise conflicting demands
- Effective diagnosis, analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge and experience of financial management system (Sage/Oracle)
- Knowledge and experience of managing procurement and contracts for services
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection and Health and Safety legislation
- An interest in the digital world, through video, photography and social media
- Knowledge of Apple Technology
