Haunstrup, Whatmough, Davies, Close and McGurk all start
Jack Whatmough returns to the starting line-up for Pompey against champions Northampton this afternoon.He is joined by fellow academy graduates Brandon Haunstrup and Ben Close as Paul Cook makes five changes from the side that won at Hartlepool last week.
There are also starts for Ben Davies – who wears the captain armband in the absence of Michael Doyle – and Adam McGurk, while Kieron Freeman moves into midfield.
Former Pompey players Ricky Holmes and John Marquis both feature for the visitors.
