Marathon challenge awaits Clare and Jane
The Athens Marathon is the next challenge for Pompey in the Community CEO Clare Martin and finance manager Jane Buckle.
They have training for Sunday's race for most of the year and are raising funds to enable to club's charity arm to purchase a new minibus for their inclusive teams.
Clare said: "This will be a real challenge for both of us. It follows the route of the first ever marathon and winds its way from Marathon to the Olympic Arena in Athens.
"There is an eight-mile uphill climb, so its going to be a real challenge – probably the most physically challenging experience either of us have undertaken.
"But the minibus is so important to enable our inclusive players to attend festivals and tournaments, so we're hoping that Pompey fans will support us!"
