Portsmouth Football Club can confirm that Carl Baker has left the club by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old midfielder arrived at Fratton Park in June 2016 and netted nine times in 50 appearances during his time on the south coast.
He scored crucial goals against the likes of Carlisle, Cambridge and Mansfield to help the Blues secure the League Two title last season.
Baker also appeared four times this term, featuring in the games against Rochdale, Cardiff, Oxford and Fulham under-21s.
Everyone at Pompey would like to thank Carl for his contribution to the club and we wish him well for the future.
