Life And Chimes – The Pompey Story

Stage show coming to the Kings Theatre in October

9 August 2017

A host of former Blues stars will be present for an evening of nostalgia at the Kings Theatre.

‘Life and Chimes – the Pompey Story’ is described as a spectacular show that will make you laugh, cry and cheer.

It will be held at the Southsea theatre on Monday, October 16 and tickets are on sale from their box office now.

Darren Anderton, Andy Awford, Alan Biley, Ray Crawford, Kevin Dillon, Richard Hughes, Alan Knight, John Milkins, Svetoslav Todorov and Paul Walsh are among those set to take part.

The two-hour show – which is suitable for those aged 18 and over – is backed by the Pompey Supporters’ Trust and is being staged in aid of Pompey in the Community and the Oakley Waterman Foundation.

Blues fan Ian Darke and fellow television commentator Peter Brackley have organised the night and are jointly hosting.

It will include live and recorded interviews with Pompey stars from across the decades, as well as a series of comedy sketches.
