Pompey’s Checkatrade Trophy third round tie with Chelsea U21s will now take place at Fratton Park.
The last-16 contest will be played on Tuesday, January 9 (7.45pm kick-off).
Chelsea were initially drawn to be the home side, but the venue has been switched because Stamford Bridge is hosting a Carabao Cup match the following day.
Ticket prices have been confirmed, with dates of sale to be announced in due course.
