Fratton Park Receives Capacity Boost

Tickets back on sale for Boxing Day clash

22 December 2017

Portsmouth Football Club are delighted to announce that, with immediate effect, the capacity at Fratton Park has been increased by 738 seats to 19,669.

The extra seats are available in the popular North Stand Upper section of the stadium.

Chief executive Mark Catlin explained the reason for the increase: “As has been well documented, important structural, safety and security work has been ongoing at Fratton Park over the past 4-5 seasons.

“Investment has been significantly increased over the summer and especially during recent months.

“Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this process, and we remain committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for supporters at Fratton Park.”

As a result, tickets are available again for the Boxing Day visit of AFC Wimbledon, but fans are urged to act quickly to avoid disappointment.

Seats are available to purchase online here and supporters will have the option to use the ‘print at home’ service or collect from main reception on the day of the game.

Subject to availability, tickets will also be sold from the booths behind the Fratton End from 11am on Boxing Day.

Please note that the Frogmore Road ticket office and phone lines are now closed for the Christmas break.
