Brett Pitman returns to the Pompey side at Charlton this afternoon.
The Blues skipper replaces Curtis Main in the only change from the side that beat Northampton in the Checkatrade Trophy last week.
Ben Close (thigh), Dion Donohue (back), Oliver Hawkins (hamstring), and Kal Naismith (knee) all remain sidelined.
