Friendly ends all square
Bradley Lethbridge scored a late penalty as Pompey Academy drew 3-3 with Luton in a friendly at Furze Lane.
They made a bright start to the contest, only to fall behind to a sweetly-struck volley from outside the area on six minutes.
But the Blues drew level before the break, as a header was parried into the path of Lethbridge for a simple finish.
Luton missed the chance to restore their advantage when a penalty was blazed high over the bar, although they did score a second soon after.
Dan Smith (pictured) equalised for the hosts for a second time on 79 minutes, with an effort that looped in off the post.
The Hatters immediately hit back, however, and looked to have secured the win when a cross drifted over everyone and into the net.
But there was still time for Pompey to snatch a draw, as the referee spotted a handball in the box and Lethbridge stepped up to tuck home from the spot.
