Blues launch new design
Pompey’s 2017/18 home kit is on sale now.
The Blues will, of course, play in their classic colours of blue shirt, white shorts and red socks at Fratton Park during the forthcoming League One campaign.
Fans voted for their favourite designs in an online poll last autumn and the winning option has now been prepared by Sondico.
The home shirt includes the Pompey crest embossed on the front and features Optivent technology to dry perspiration fast and keep the body cool.
The kits are available to buy online here or from the Pompey Store on the corner of Goldsmith Avenue and Fratton Way.
Conor Chaplin – who helped model the new kit – said: “It’s lovely – I really like it. I prefer shirts without the collar because of the way they fit.
“Most of the lads like the tighter fit these days. Hopefully I can score a lot of goals wearing the kit this season.”
Pompey’s new away kit will be launched on July 27, with the third strip following on August 3.
