Pompey collect LMA prize
Pompey’s 3-0 victory at Carlisle has seen them collect the LG Performance of the Week award.
The decision was made by a five-man League Manager’s Association panel, comprising LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry.
The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of more than 6,000 competitive matches in professional football.
Blues boss Paul Cook will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LG Performance of the Week trophy.
