Blues face Blades on Monday
Pompey Reserves return to Premier League Cup action next Monday (March 20).
Sheffield United are the visitors to Havant & Waterlooville’s Westleigh Park for a last 16 tie that kicks-off at 7pm.
The Blues reached this stage of the competition by finishing top of Group D, above fellow qualifiers Norwich, as well as Everton and Wolves.
Coach Mikey Harris said: “It’s been a fantastic competition for everyone at the club – for the first teamers who need games and for the younger lads who need experience.
“Sheffield United will provide us with tough opposition, but it’s a game we’re really looking forward to.
“We’ve had really good support for our games at Westleigh Park so far and we’d encourage as many fans as possible to come down and cheer us on.”
The Premier League Cup is a tournament for under-23 sides, although teams can include three over-age outfield players and an over-age goalkeeper. Entry for the clash is £5.
