BLUES BETTING: POMPEY v CHELTENHAM

Pompey need to beat Cheltenham this weekend to have any chance of securing the League Two title.

And they are 2/5 favourites with Sky Bet to keep up their end of the bargain by claiming all three points.

The visitors – who are safe from the drop after seeing off Hartlepool last Saturday – can be backed at 13/2, with the draw at 18/5.

All five previous meetings between the sides have ended all square, so punters could be tempted by odds of 14/1 for a 0-0 scoreline or 15/2 for a 1-1 stalemate.

But more optimistic supporters might instead like to back the hosts to win 2-0 at 11/2 or 3-0 at 8/1.

Pompey’s two highest scorers are favourites to grab the opener, with Kal Naismith and Gary Roberts both priced 7/2.

Elsewhere in the first goalscorer market, Conor Chaplin, Gareth Evans and Enda Stevens are available at 4/1, 11/1 and 40/1 respectively.

The Blues are 7/2 outsiders to lift the League Two trophy, with Plymouth at 4/6 and Doncaster at 5/2.

Please note that all odds are subject to change.
