Teenage defender released
Portsmouth Football Club can confirm that Calvin Davies has been released following the expiration of his contract.
We would like to thank him for his service to the club and wish him well for the future.
Carl Baker, Alex Bass, Christian Burgess, Conor Chaplin, Matt Clarke, Tom Davies, Nicke Kabamba, Milan Lalkovic, Jamal Lowe, Curtis Main, Adam May, Kal Naismith, Gary Roberts, Danny Rose, Michael Smith and Drew Talbot are all still under contract.
The deals for all other members of the squad expire this summer and the club are currently in negotiations with them.
It was announced last month that Pompey have offered one-year professional contracts to academy graduates Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington.
Eoin Doyle, David Forde and Aaron Simpson will return to their parent clubs following the end of their loan deals at Fratton Park and we thank them for their contributions.
