Matt Clarke has been nominated for the Checkatrade Trophy Player of the Round award.
Following the completion of the second round of group stage fixtures earlier this week, the final five-man shortlist has been revealed.
And Pompey defender Clarke has been included following his stunning solo effort in October’s 3-1 victory over Crawley at Fratton Park.
He is up against Forest Green’s Reece Brown, Scunthorpe’s Tom Hopper, Lincoln’s Jordan Maguire-Drew and AFC Wimbledon’s Toby Sibbick.
An independent football expert made the nominations and now fans can click here to vote for who makes the final two.
A judging panel – consisting of representatives from the EFL – will then decide who is the overall winner.
Every fan who votes will be entered into a prize draw, with the one lucky entrant getting the chance to present the award the winning players, as well as receiving tickets to the Checkatrade Trophy final at Wembley in April.*
Supporters have until 9am on Tuesday, November 7 to make their choice. So click here to help Clarke make the final two.
