A curry night has raised vital funds for Pompey in the Community (PitC).
Guests enjoyed a two-course meal at The Akash in Albert Road and the chance to have their photo taken with the League Two trophy, while entertainment was provided by Bollywood dancers.
The event raised a fantastic £1,650 and included an auction, with a signed Blues shirt and Indian cooking course among the lots.
Fiona Bristow from PitC said: “If it wasn’t for fundraising from the community, we would not be able to do a lot of what we offer. Thank you so much to all those involved.”
Faz Ahmed from The Akash added: “PitC do so much for people of all ages living across our community.
“I thank them for everything they do and am so appreciative of the generosity from people who attended this event.”
