Following ongoing and increasing maintenance demands, Portsmouth Football Club have a vacancy for a Maintenance Assistant.
The role will report to the club’s Maintenance Manager and will be based mainly at our Training Ground on Copnor Road, Portsmouth.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out various building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, basic plumbing, electrics, painting, general building work and facilities management. The person appointed must have a full, clean driving licence.
The role requires an adaptable ‘can-do’ mindset with good communication skills – both written and oral – as well as a background in successfully working in small teams.
The candidate appointed will be required to work at Fratton Park for home games, which will require weekend and evening working.
