Hermann Hreidarsson is the latest former Fratton favourite to be added to a stage show that will celebrate Pompey’s rich history.
‘Life and Chimes – the Pompey Story’ takes place at the Kings Theatre in Southsea from 7.30pm on Monday, October 16.
The popular FA Cup-winning defender will be joined by around 30 other ex-Blues stars, including Darren Anderon, Andy Awford, Noel Blake, Vince Hilaire, Alan Knight, Svetoslav Todorov and Paul Walsh.
Pompey fan Ian Darke and fellow commentator Peter Brackley have organised the night and will be jointly hosting.
The two-hour show – which is suitable for those aged 18 and over – is backed by the Pompey Supporters’ Trust and is being staged in aid of Pompey in the Community and the Oakley Waterman Foundation.
It will include live and recorded interviews with stars from across the decades, as well as a series of comedy sketches.
