The Pompey Lottery team would like to extend their congratulations to Mr Philip Turvey from Waterlooville.
He is the winner of this year’s £12,000 annual jackpot prize and has been a proud supporter of the lottery scheme since September 2015.
To see how he came to win the £12,000 jackpot watch the filmed draw below, which will also be shown on the big screen at half-time of Saturday’s clash with Fleetwood at Fratton Park.
In order to determine the winner, players from the Pompey Academy took part in a chip-in challenge.
Ahead of filming, ten finalists were randomly selected from our lottery system and were each allocated an academy player to take part on their behalf.
The first player to successfully land their ball in the drum and win the £12,000 prize for their finalist was Bradley Lethbridge, playing for Philip Turvey.
We look forward to welcoming Mr Turvey to Fratton Park in the coming weeks for his cheque presentation.
Commiserations to the other finalists: Susan Lamb, Kevin Brown, Paul Ozanne, Mark McCann, Stephen Christie, Brett Wylde, Mark Nicholls, Peter James and David O’Connor.
