Brett Pitman has been named the PFA Bristol Street Motors League One Player of the Month for March by football fans across the country.
The Pompey skipper collected 45 per cent of the vote – which was run by fan engagement experts Snack Media – with Jack Marriott finishing second with 15 per cent.
He netted four goals in just three appearances during March, which included braces in victories over Oldham and Oxford.
Blackburn duo Adam Armstrong and Bradley Dack, Fleetwood’s Alex Cairns and Wigan’s Nick Powell were also shortlisted.
