Pompey Women return to National League action at the PMC Stadium this weekend for the first time in more than two months.
And Jay Sadler's side will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats against Cardiff and AFC Wimbledon in the league and FA Cup respectively.
It will be the first time they have faced Oxford in a competitive fixture following the visitors’ relegation from the WSL2.
But United have settled into their new surroundings pretty well, winning five of their opening 10 fixtures.
While Pompey crashed out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 loss against the Dons last week, their opponents thrashed Cambridge 4-0 in the same competition.
Oxford currently sit four places and seven points higher than the Blues in the table, as the aim to return to the second tier of women’s football.
Victory would not see Pompey climb the standings, although it would help close the gap to MK Dons, who have played a game more.
Sadler will be without Mel Burns, Hannah Geer, EJ May and Rachel Panting for the contest, but recent signing Alex Collighan could make her home debut.
