It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
And to get into the festive spirit, Pompey players are going to be visiting young supporters in hospitals across the south coast.
The squad will make a trip to the children’s wards at QA Hospital in Cosham and Southampton General Hospital to deliver presents to those who will not be at home for Christmas this year.
The gifts have been generously donated by club partner and proud North Stand sponsor PMC and we are sure they will provide a few extra smiles during the festive period.
"It’s a very rewarding event to be a part of at this time of year."
Steve Cripps, director at PMC, said: “We are pleased to support Portsmouth Football Club on their annual hospital visits.
“While we all sit back and take Christmas for granted, it is very rewarding to be involved and contribute towards making some children smile during their time away from home.”
Pompey commercial director Anna Mitchell added: “The players visit young Blues supporters in local hospitals every Christmas and it’s a very rewarding event to be a part of at this time of year.”
