Pompey Academy will look to cause an upset when they face Liverpool in the third round of the FA Youth Cup tonight.
The match – which kicks-off at 7pm – takes place at St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium, with the winners securing a home clash with Accrington in the next stage.
Academy manager Mark Kelly said: “The boys are really looking forward to it and will be looking to go there and perform.
"We’ll certainly be the underdogs, but it’s a situation that we’ve been in a few times before and everyone’s excited."

Pompey reached this round of the competition with a 5-2 victory over Bristol Rovers at Fratton Park and a 4-0 win at Cray Wanderers.
