Pompey have signed Wolves duo Sylvain Deslandes and Connor Ronan on loan for the remainder of the season.
Defender Deslandes – who can play at left-back or in a more central role – is a 20-year-old who has represented France up to under-20 level and featured eight times for the Molineux outfit.
Republic of Ireland youth international Ronan, 19, is a midfielder who has played 13 first team games for Wolves.
He has appeared three times for them in the Championship this term, including in away victories at Derby and Burton.
Both players featured for Wolves against Pompey in the under-23 Premier League Cup competition last season.
Blues boss Kenny Jackett said: “We’re short on natural players at the back currently, so Sylvain can hopefully help us continue our excellent defensive record this season.
"I worked with both of them during my time Wolves and am pleased to link up with them once again."
“Connor’s strength is his creativity, while he also has pace and vision on the ball. He’s someone I rate very highly and has a bright future in the game.
