Kal Naismith makes his first start for Pompey in seven weeks against Scunthorpe this afternoon.
He has fully recovered from a knee injury, with top scorer and skipper Brett Pitman also returning to the line-up.
They replace Adam May and Matty Kennedy in the only two changes from the side beaten by Chelsea under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier in the week.
