Tom Naylor is the latest player that Kenny Jackett has signed to boost his squad ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The versatile midfielder has penned a three-year deal at Fratton Park and is excited about joining 'a massive club'.
And fans seemed equally enthused as they took to social media to welcome the 26-year-old.

Welcome to the biggest club on the south coast @tomnaylor2 https://t.co/GXjJ2r7gA6
I'm happy with this, people talking about Wes Hoolahan but I would rather a midfielder who has been there and done it at this level, but still has room and age on his side to improve. Good signing 😀 https://t.co/xlW7TAXAF8

#pompey quietly and effectively filling the problem gaps in the squad from last season. That’s the defensive midfielder in. A Left Back and a Striker and we are ready to go? https://t.co/ZHDwL9tB8A

A positive sign for Pompey fans is that Burton followers were disappointed to see Naylor depart.
You lot are very lucky. Absolutely brilliant player and a massive loss to us. Good championship player

Such a shame. Easily play of the season despite the loyal votes going to Lucas. Huge loss to us in our situation.

A bigger club bigger fan base and no doubt a better contract. Fair play will be a big miss to Burton
