Goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray became the third player to sign for Pompey this summer when he completed a switch from Shrewsbury on Monday.
The 25-year-old penned a two-year deal and revealed that he was looking forward to battling with Luke McGee for a place between the sticks next season.
And fans quickly took to social media to welcome the new arrival to Fratton Park.
Good signing, he had a blinder against us at Fratton Park !!

The reaction from Shrewsbury fans suggested that Blues boss Kenny Jackett had made a decent signing.
Got yourselves a good ‘keeper there, Pompey. 👍 Sad to see him go.
