Mark Catlin was the guest of honour at the Central Branch Supporters’ Club AGM on Monday evening.
Pompey’s chief executive spent an hour answering questions from fans on a range of topics, including work at the stadium, his relationship with the owners and an overview of the season just gone.
Catlin also presented Central Branch secretary Kevin Ryan with his ‘Fan of the Year’ award, which was organised by the group and the PST.
The popular supporter has carried out tireless work in the role, which he has held for the entirety of the organisation’s 21-year existence.
The AGM wrapped up a busy season of engaging with Pompey fans.
Stretching back to last July, there have been 15 supporter meetings and two dinners at Fratton Park, as well as in Chichester, London, Isle of Wight and even Blackburn, where the entire first team squad and management team met with the Northern Blues before a match at Ewood Park.
Various players have attended the meetings, as have Kenny Jackett and his assistant Joe Gallen.
Catlin has been to five of them and both dinners, as well as the bi-monthly supporters’ conference meetings.
