Pompey will face League of Ireland outfit Cork City as part of their pre-season preparations.
Kenny Jackett’s side are travelling to Turner's Cross for the friendly contest on Monday, July 2 (7pm kick-off).
The game will take place in the middle of the Irish season and just before the Premier Division title-holders start their Champions League qualification campaign.
Cork – which is located in the south-west of the country – are going well in their defence of the trophy, currently only behind leaders Dundalk on goal difference.
Pompey are going to be based locally during a training camp and will fly out for a five-night stay on Sunday, July 1.
When they return, the Blues will make the shorter journey to Westleigh Park for the annual clash with Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday, July 7 (3pm kick-off).
The club are currently in the process of confirming more friendlies and these will be announced in due course.
