Only a handful of spaces remain for next week’s Network Pompey Business Club event at Fratton Park.
Guests can enjoy a morning of breakfast over a delicious continental breakfast, make valuable new contacts from Hampsire and the surrounding areas, and hear from guest speaker Deborah Phillips.
Deborah is an open water swim coach and motivational speaker, who swam the English Channel in 2017.
Overcoming adversity and a number of obstacles along the way – as well as losing her father to drowning when younger – she combatted bad weather, enormous waves, jellyfish, darkness and mental demons to make it across in a time of 17 hours and 23 minutes.
Deborah believes a positive mental attitude got her through the challenge and -along with determination, hard work and courage – can help people achieve anything in life, personally or professionally.
