Pompey will discover their next Checkatrade Trophy opponents when the second round draw is made on Friday.
It will take place from 1pm and be broadcast live on TalkSport 2.
Kenny Jackett’s side are guaranteed a home tie in the last 32 of the competition after finishing top of Southern Group A.
The draw will continue to be regionalised into North and South areas, with each further divided into two sections.
Pompey will host the side that finished runner-up in either Group E, F, G or H, meaning they will take on Arsenal U21, Northampton, AFC Wimbledon or Peterborough.
The draw will be held at Checkatrade’s Lakeside site in Portsmouth, with host David Prutton joined by Leon Britton and former Blues striker Steve Claridge.
Second round ties are scheduled to be played in the week beginning December 3.
