Eleven Changes Against Tottenham

Green among the players to come in for Checkatrade Trophy match

13 November 2018

Kenny Jackett has rung the changes for tonight’s final Checkatrade Trophy group match against Tottenham U21s.

With Pompey having already qualified for the knockout stages, nobody from the side that beat Maidenhead in the FA Cup at the weekend keeps their place.

Teenage striker Bradley Lethbridge – who has enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bognor this season – makes his debut up front.

He is joined by fellow academy player Haji Mnoga, who made his Blues bow in this competition at Crawley last month.

Andre Green starts wide on the left after recovering from a knee injury, with Louis Dennis, David Wheeler, Danny Rose and Ben Close completing the midfield.

Christian Burgess, Anton Walkes and Brandon Haunstrup all return to the defence, with Luke McGee between the sticks.

Pompey: McGee; Mnoga, Walkes, Burgess (c), Haunstrup; Close, Rose; Wheeler, Dennis, Green; Lethbridge
Subs: MacGillivray, Clarke, Brown, B.Thompson, Evans, Smith, Hawkins
