It has been a fast-paced start to the Sky Bet League One season and the Sporting Life team take a look at the upcoming round of fixtures.

Pompey and Peterborough remain the table-toppers, as the Blues maintained their unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at Coventry.

Kenny Jackett’s side are three points clear of the Posh and host a Gillingham outfit that are sitting in the relegation places and without a win in six league games.

Steve Evans’ Peterborough grabbed a point at Sunderland on Tuesday and welcome sixth-place Barnsley, who are unbeaten in two matches and have their eyes set on playing Championship football next season.

Doncaster are three points off the automatic places and have enjoyed a solid start to the season, despite losing to Accrington last time out.

They entertain a Fleetwood team who have drawn three of their past five games, while losing the other two.

Sunderland are unbeaten in three and currently sit fourth in the table. The Black Cats have lost only once in their 11 League One fixtures thus far.

They travel to Yorkshire to take on a Bradford outfit that are still adapting to life under David Hopkin, though the Bantams are unbeaten in two and attained an impressive result at AFC Wimbledon in their last outing.

Sunderland to win and both teams to score is looking like a good way to go at 10/3 with Sky Bet, with Bradford conceding 15 goals this season while only mustering eight.

Accrington are one of the form sides going into their clash with Shrewsbury, as they are unbeaten in 10 and have won their past three matches.

Last year’s play-off finalists have only registered a solitary win so far, but have picked up two draws in as many games as they look to climb the table.

Walsall sit a place outside the top six, though the Saddlers have been inconsistent as of late, winning, drawing and losing in their past three respective league games.

They travel to Bristol Rovers, who have not lost in three and have picked up half of their points from their three most recent matches.

Lee Bowyer could not have had a better start since becoming Charlton’s permanent manager, winning four of their past six league games, despite their only loss in that time coming to Scunthorpe in their last match.

They will be looking to bounce back against Coventry, who are winless in four fixtures and have only notched twice in that time.

Scunthorpe and Luton are one place apart and face off at Kenilworth Road, with Iron without a loss in seven and Town on an unbeaten run of four.

Luton to win and both teams to score stands at 11/4 with Sky Bet, where a goal could separate the two sides in what should be a tight contest.

Chris Powell’s Southend side are enjoying a three-game winning streak which has seen them move up to 11th in the table.

They will be searching for their fourth successive victory as they host Oxford, who currently occupy one of the relegation spots and are without a win in six matches.

Blackpool sit mid-table and are unbeaten in their last eight matches, although the Seasiders have drawn 60 per cent of their league games thus far.

Rochdale visit Bloomfield Road, sitting in 15th position currently, even though their five losses have come from all the teams inside the top seven.

Burton will be looking for their first win in three as they travel to Wycombe, losing at home to Southend in their last League One encounter.

Gareth Ainsworth’s side hang one place and one point above the drop-zone as they will be sniffing their second win of the season.

AFC Wimbledon are in the middle of a tightly-packed bottom half of the table, as they will look to pick up their second win in five games when they travel to Plymouth.

The Pilgrims sit at the foot of the table with no wins in their opening 11 matches, with them only finding the net eight times in that period.
