Pompey’s have received recognition for their flying start to the 2018/19 campaign.
Kenny Jackett has been nominated for August’s Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award, while Ronan Curtis is shortlisted for the player prize.
The Blues dropped just two points from their five fixtures last month, collecting victories against Luton, Blackpool, Oxford and Bristol Rovers.
And Curtis played a key role in that success, contributing three goals and an assist following his summer switch from Derry.
Jackett is up against Peterborough’s Steve Evans, Sunderland’s Jack Ross and Walsall’s Dean Yeates for the managerial honour.
Meanwhile, Curtis’ fellow nominees are Barnsley’s Dimitri Cavare, Peterborough’s Jason Cummings and Sunderland’s Lynden Gooch.
The winner of both awards will be decided by an expert judging panel and announced on Friday.
