Portsmouth Football Club have a vacancy for a part-time football coach, working exclusively with our signed players in the academy.
The role will be based at our training ground in Portsmouth, but will require travel to a variety of venues in and around the city to conduct three, two-hour training sessions per week.
Additionally, one match is also to be covered weekly and this may be played local to Portsmouth or further afield. A clean driving licence is a necessity and a D1 category is desirable.
We require the successful candidate to have a UEFA ‘B’ licence as an absolute minimum qualification. We also require the FA youth award and a strong preference for the successful candidate to hold, or be working towards, the qualification of the Advanced Youth Award.
Experience of working in a coaching capacity in professional football and with young adolescents is desirable.
