Pompey Women are back on the road on Sunday, as they travel to Court Place Farm to face Oxford.
Jay Sadler’s side currently sit eighth in the National League standings, but could climb up two places with victory over United.
The Blues enter the game on the back of a 2-0 win at Gillingham last weekend – a result that ensured they cannot finish lower than their current position.
Katie James saw her long-range free-kick find the back of the net, with a little help from the post, before Eilidh Currie struck to secure a maximum haul.
Pompey will also be hoping the sides above them drop points, with Watford away to Chichester and Loughborough hosting Plymouth.
Their visitors are currently fourth in the table and were beaten 2-0 at table-topping Coventry last Sunday.
But Oxford registered the biggest win of the campaign last month, when Emily Allen found the target six times in a 12-0 rout over basement side C&K Basildon.
This is the first meeting of the season between the clubs, with the return fixture at the PMC Stadium taking place in a fortnight.
And the Blues will chase a fifth successive victory when they visit the home of Oxford City (OX3 0NQ) on Sunday.
The game kicks-off at 2pm, with tickets priced £5 for adults and £2 for seniors (65+). Entry is free for under-16s.
