James Vaughan makes his first start for Pompey at Sunderland this afternoon.
The former Black Cats striker replaces Oli Hawkins in one of two changes from the side that beat Coventry on Easter Monday.
Ronan Curtis also returns to the starting line-up, with Gareth Evans and Hawkins both dropping to the bench.
