Pompey have teamed up with Zanda Films, producers of the critically acclaimed film Our Club about the community takeover of the club.
With the Bank Holiday weekend coming up and no game on Saturday, it is the perfect opportunity to see why many Blues fans have enjoyed the movie.
Narrated by renowned broadcaster and Pompey supporter Ian Darke and directed by Barney Fox, the film plots the story of the club from its glory days of winning the FA Cup at Wembley in 2008 through the dark days of two administrations and a tumble into the fourth tier of English football.
It charts how the fans came together to save their club and then run it successfully as the biggest community-owned club in the country.
And fans who have rented the film have been impressed with what they’ve seen.
@ourclubthemovie @Pompey watched 'Our Club' and can safely say I had tears in my eyes!! This club is special, this club is unique and together we can achieve whatever we set out to achieve. Love the film, love this club and bring on the new season PUP
