Pompey Women are in League Cup action this afternoon when they visit Crawley Wasps for a place in the quarter-finals (2pm kick-off).
There is an added incentive to triumph in the tie, with the winners hosting Southampton in the last eight.
The match was supposed to take place last Sunday, but the wet weather caused it to be put back seven days.
However, the Blues can still carry momentum into the contest following their 6-1 rout of Leyton Orient in the FA Cup a fortnight ago.
And it was the same scoreline when they met the Londoners in this competition back in October, with Charmaine True bagging a brace.
That set up a clash with a Crawley outfit who are currently sitting second in the National League South standings.
The sides have already met once this season, with the Sussex outfit claiming all three points with a 3-1 victory.
Katie James was sent off in that fixture and serves the final game of a three-match ban this afternoon.
Pompey are playing their fourth game in the League Cup this term, having already overcome Watford, Gillingham and Orient.
Tickets can be bought on the gate at Sussex County FA’s Culver Road (County Ground), priced £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (U18/63+), with under-12s admitted free. A family ticket for two adults and two juniors is also available for £10.
