Christian Burgess has been nominated for the Checkatrade Trophy Player of the Round award.
The defender produced a fine display in Pompey’s quarter-final victory over Peterborough at Fratton Park last month.
He produced a vital goal-line clearance when the tie was delicately poised at 0-0 and was a rock at the back throughout the contest.
Burgess has been shortlisted alongside Bristol Rovers' Ollie Clarke, Bury's Danny Mayor and Sunderland's Alim Ozturk.
