Pompey Women will look to get 2019 off to a positive start when they host QPR at the PMC Stadium on Sunday.
The Londoners are only being kept off the foot of the National League table on goal difference and are most used to playing at Fratton Park on visits to the south coast.
Pompey hit them for six there at the end of last term, with Charley Boswell, Sammy Quayle, Daisy McLachlan, Rachel Panting and EJ May all finding the target.
Jade Bradley was a second half substitutes for Rangers on that occasion and the midfielder will come up against her former club for the first time.
Martino Chevannes’ outfit have yet to taste victory in the league this season and are looking to change their fortunes at the start of a new year.
It will be a first taste of action for Pompey since they exited the FA Cup at AFC Wimbledon early in December.
This fixture was originally scheduled to take place later that month, but – like the Oxford game – it fell victim to the weather.
Blues boss Jay Sadler could hand starts to new signings Becki Bath and Hannah Haughton, but Hannah Geer and Mel Burns remain sidelined.
The match kicks-off at 2pm and you can click here for ticket and ground information. A matchday programme is available for £1.
